I am a 3rd year Physics PhD student at UW-Madison working on putting together the science analysis pipeline for the upcoming EXperiment for Cryogenic Large Aperture Intensity Mapping (EXCLAIM). My current research focuses on simulating high fidelity line intensity maps for singly ionized carbon ([CII] or C+) and carbon monoxide transition lines (CO), which are representative of the telescope’s optical and electronic systems. I am interested in becoming involved in hands-on detector hardware development in the future.
