Gage Siebert has just been awarded the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship for his research on periodicity searches and data processing for the Tianlai Pathfinder Dish Array. His broad set of research also includes diffraction analysis for the EXCLAIM telescope. Congratulations, Gage!
Congrats to Calvin Osinga, Gage Siebert, and Yanlin Wu for their recent well-deserved awards! Calvin won the Hagengruber Scholarship and Gage won the Liebenberg Family Scholarship, and both were recognized at the department awards ceremony. Yanlin won a Hilldale scholarship supporting her research over the summer. Well done, all!
