I’m a recent PhD graduate from the physics department at UW-Madison. I’m now a Postdoc at the Quantitative Brain Imagining Technology Lab at the Waisman Center, UW – Madison. A few years ago, I designed an ultra-wideband antenna intended to minimize systematic effects in 21cm experiments. Then, I created a foreground cleaning technique for 21cm intensity maps called Needlet Karhunen-Loève (NKL). I recently published a paper describing a visibility-based cleaning method called Visibility Karhunen-Loève (VKL).
