I’m a PhD student in the physics department at UW-Madison. A few years ago, I designed an ultra-wideband antenna intended to minimize systematic effects in 21cm experiments. Then, I created a foreground cleaning technique for 21cm intensity maps called Needlet Karhunen-Loève (NKL). Currently, I am writing a paper describing a visibility-based cleaning method called Visibility Karhunen-Loève (VKL).
